Cash, Check or Paypal Are transitions important? YES!! Improve your transitions and you will improve the frequency of your bookings, your gratuities and your employment opportunities. In my opinion, smooth and seamless transitions - or the lack thereof - can make or break the massage experience for the client, guest or patient. In this workshop you will learn how to develop and seamlessly integrate transitions into your work. Whether a student, newly entering the massage field or a seasoned pro, this workshop will give you new and important tools in which to raise your massage to a higher level.

Welcome to the long-awaited first Oasis Holistic Bodywork Workshop. This workshop, Developing Transitions, will cover a subject I personally think is the key to giving an awesome massage, and that is transitions. No matter how great your touch is, no matter how many modalities you've mastered, your depth of knowledge, and no matter how much experience you have, if your massage is not seamless and built upon smooth and flowing transitions, you will have a more difficult time achieving the tremendous success possible in this industry. In this workshop, which will be limited to eight participants, we will begin with evaluating your own massage techniques and then I will teach you how to build transitions into your existing routine. If you don't have a set routine, this process is key to designing your routine. Designing A Routine will be included in a future workshop series. While the pricing structure allows for pay-as-you-go, it is designed for students or therapists just starting their careers who may not have access to the amount in full. It is not an invitation to pick and choose which segments you'll attend as each workshop segment builds on the previous and prepares you for the next. At the end of the 5-Week workshop, each participant who has attended all sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion from Oasis Holistic Bodywork. Unfortunately, at this time I do not offer Continuing Education Units; however, some of the best things I've ever learned as a massage therapist were learned either informally from my peers, or in unsanctioned workshops. For this workshop series you may have to bring your own massage table; however, I will let you know prior to the workshop. You will need your sheets, massage cream, lotion or oil, paper and pen or pencil and bottled water; and, of course, payment. If you haven't prepaid, you'll need to bring cash or a check. The workshop will begin promptly at 7 p.m. each evening of the workshop series. Since each meeting is relatively short, we may or may not take a break mid-way. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have regarding the content, or if you have any requests. Thanks, Jules
